Vocational programs provide students with opportunities to gain formal preparation for careers in fields like cosmetology, technology, culinary arts, automotive technology, and healthcare. Vocational programs are available through community colleges, vocational and technical schools, trade schools, or career colleges.

Community colleges are two-year institutions that offer associate's degrees and certificate programs.
